Last night we attended the Rock To Win event at the Fillmore Auditorium in Capitol Hill.  Sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, Thelma Houston, Rufus Wainwright, Cyndi Lauper and Melissa Etheridge all performed.  Margaret Cho also made an appearance introducing the first two acts and Jarid Polis also made remarks.  We had so much fun! 

It was only my second concert at the Fillmore and it is such a cool intimate space to see a show.  As part of the evening they broadcasted a speech from the DNC.  This was our second DNC event that we attended having snagged an invitation to the swanky DNC Welcome Party at the Denver Art Museum on Sunday.

This is such an exciting and historic time to be living in Denver - I feel really lucky to get to be a part of it.
