Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga focuses on awakening your energy and unlocking your inner potential through specific breathing, movements, stretching, meditation and mantra. This ancient and sacred practice is the oldest form of Yoga, kept secret by advanced yogis until recently. As taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D., Master of Kundalini Yoga, this powerful and effective form of Yoga is a great way to recharge and heal your body quickly.

All levels welcome, no experience required. Each session is unique; we recommend that you try at least two or three sessions. Single session: $8 member, $10 non-member. Denver Botanic Gardens celebrates the achievements and vision of Colorado sculptors in this outdoor group exhibition. Twelve artists redefine the surrounding landscape with their 3-D work. The artwork introduces a variety of color, texture, and form into an already rich environment. Participating artists include: Emmett Culligan, Kim Dickey, Linda Fleming, Nancy Lovendahl, Terry Maker, Robert Mangold, Patrick Marold, Andy Miller, Pard Morrison, Carl Reed, Yoshitomo Saito and James Surls.

The Gardens’ renowned horticulturists will be available to answer questions about the best plants for your own garden.

Mixed succulent containers will be available for purchase. These ceramic containers consist of bright and unique combinations of succulents perfect for display on a patio.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own wagons, carts, wheelbarrows, or even recycled boxes.

Theatre Hikes: "Snow White"

Join Theatre-Hikes Colorado for an exciting retelling of Snow White by Marjorie Sokokoff. The witch was the fairest one of all first, and she will not be silenced any longer! This updated version of the classic story unveils the villain's perspective, from her tragic childhood to her quest for revenge. So how did the story really go? Join all seven quirky dwarves, a tongue-tied prince, a sassy mirror, a dancing chicken, and of course Snow White, in a tale about beauty, friendship and happily-ever-afters with a twist.

Audience and actors take a moderate hike throughout the Gardens while scenes from Snow White are performed along the way. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets and mats to sit on while watching the scenes. Folding chairs will be available upon request. You may purchase food or beverages at the Gardens and bring them along for the performance. We strongly encourage everyone to wear comfortable walking shoes.

June Sunset Stroll

Midsummer Night's Dream

Each Sunset Stroll will feature a different theme. There will be a complimentary activity and plenty of space for a long stroll in the Gardens.

Whither wander you this midsummer’s eve? Join actors from Theatre-Hikes Colorado as they lead you ‘over hill, over dale…over park, over pale’ and perform excerpts from William Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Audience and actors take a moderate hike throughout the Gardens while scenes from the play are performed along the way. Join in the fun as we provide you with your own magical disguise. $1 off admission if you come dressed like the Bard, a fairy, or Puck.
